Hannibal on his Hep C Human Rights Tribunal Loss
The Hannibal TV Lead Reporter Devon “Hannibal” Nicholson does a personal Blog video about a Human Rights case he had against the City of Ottawa related to a wrongful dismissal that happened to him while he on Doctor Recommended, City approved sick leave during his 35 week Interferon, Ribiviring and Incivek experimental Hepatitis C treatment drugs that cured him of the disease in 2013.

His firing was overturned with back pay after an arbitration hearing, however the human rights matter was not covered in the arbitration and was thrown out by Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario VIce Chair Annie McKendy despite the medication Nicholson was taking having known psychological side effect including but not limited to aggressive behavior, depression, anxiety and mood swings.
“The Incivek portion of his medical was experimental and never approved side effects being one of the reasons why,” shares Nicholson. “There are now thankfully newer, easier ways to be treated for the disease with less physical and mental side effects’.
“WWE Hall of Famer Larry ‘Abdullah The Butcher’ Shreve was found guilty in 2014 of negligence, assault and battery in relation to assaulting Devon Nicholson without consent with a Hepatitis C infected razor blade in a match however has not paid any of the judgement”, Nicholson tells NetNewsledger.
